While I do appreciate that this is free with no ads or hidden payments, it is very bare-bones. You're basically only able to cut audio and fade/gain and that's all (unless I am mistaken and I haven't seen other featueres)

Very difficult to use and figure out!
How come this app hasn't gotten a review yet? You guys are missing out!!! For reals though. This is the cleanest smartphone audio recorder I've used yet. I recorded much of the tracks for one of my courses using Auphonic Edit and I was bedazzled by how clean the recording was. It had even suppressed background noise to a professional extent. It's a truly non-destructive audio recorder. Its editing features are quite basic though. I usually export the audio sample and edit elsewhere.

Add markers does not always work. Select EDIT and ADD MARKER is same location as PLAY/STOP. When I select EDIT > ADD MARKER it GOES TO PLAY/STOP! I had to restart app to get it to add markers.
Markers tiny and with no fine or time based numeric control, only with fingers. Can't select near edges, can't zoom in, can't join clips. Useless.
Unintuitive. Can't save file to phone. Worthless.
It's what i need & easy to use
I cannot find the file in my phone. It said rendering finished but I cannot find the file in the directory mentioned by the notification
